1st mini album「Fit as a Twin Fiddle」＋ステッカー全４種類

東京を拠点に活動する日本唯一のジャズフィドラー山田拓斗と、ドイツを拠点に世界的に活動する同じくジャズフィドラーのDavis WestによるデュオCDが、2025年5月に遂にリリース。
2024年12月に出会い意気投合した二人の演奏が、ツインフィドルのみで繰り広げられる緊張感溢れるミニアルバムに仕上がった。
全編山田拓斗によるオリジナル曲5曲を収録。そのうちの2曲は、この運命的な出会いをきっかけにDavis Westのために書き下ろされた新曲である。加えて、このCDだけのボーナストラックとして、バンド編成の「Tact Yamada & Leaping Strings」との初共演ライブ音源1曲を収録。
彼らの息の合った演奏は、「Fit as a fiddle」という言葉そのままに、相性抜群でエキサイティングだ。二人のフィドラーの運命的な出会いを捉えた、白熱したセッションは、間違いなく必聴に値する。

A duo CD by Japan's only jazz fiddler Tact Yamada based in Tokyo and fellow jazz fiddler Davis West based in Germany, is finally released in May 2025.
The two encountered in December 2024 and hit it off, resulting in a tense mini-album with just a twin fiddle. The album contains five original songs by Tact Yamada, including two new songs composed for Davis West inspired by this stimulating encounter. In addition, one live recording of the first joint performance with the band "Tact Yamada & Leaping Strings" is included as a bonus track exclusive to this CD.
Their well-coordinated performance is as exciting and perfectly matched as the phrase of "fit as a fiddle". One thing is certain, the intense session that captures the fateful meeting of the two fiddlers is worth listening to.
